Thank You!

On behalf of the George family, friends and fellow Methuen Firefighers, a heartfelt thank you goes out to all who attended and assisted us during these trying times.  This small expression of thanks truly cannot express the depth of our gratitude.

Again, Thank You!

Firefighter George was stricken suddenly at his home early Wednesday morning.

Rob is a 46 year old, 16 year Methuen Fire Department veteran. He was assigned to Engine-6 & Ladder-1 at the North End (Howe Street) Fire Station.

and for all of the Line of Duty deaths that have been overshadowed by these highly publicized tragedies.

Thank you Ken Doherty!
The vast majority of material appearing on this site is the direct result of the research and compilation of materials by Fire Fighter Ken Doherty.  His years of work have resulted in the preservation of references to many historical events that surely would have been lost and forgotten without his dedication.
